Chillicothe is the county seat and largest city in Livingston County, located in North Central Missouri. With a population of more than 9,100 residents, the community serves as a regional hub while maintaining a welcoming small-town atmosphere, vibrant downtown, attractive parks, and a strong sense of community. The City Administrator will play a key leadership role in helping guide the organization and community into the future.

We are seeking experienced local government professionals with strong leadership, communication, budgeting, human resources, and problem-solving experience. The City Council anticipates that the base salary will begin in the $140s and may be higher for a candidate who exceeds the minimum qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
